My Sister-n-Law is brilliant!

The Visit

I don’t think I ever shared this but back in January my brother’s wife had to come to a conference here in Florida and my brother was awesome enough to join her for the trip so he could come see me!!!  I haven’t seen my brother and his wife since I moved here over 5 years ago so I’m sure you can just imagine how ecstatic I was. 🙂  Anyhow, while they were visiting my sister-n-law (who know’s I’m crafty) asks if I know how to make beer cozy’s and I’m like ‘well yeah I’m sure it would be easy breezy if I just knew the dimensions of a bottle’.  So she said if I wanted to make some cooly ones and send them to her she’d sell them for me.  Awesome right?!!!  Well, since I’m not a beer drinker it took me a couple weeks to get a beer bottle (found it in the bushes, lol) but I did find one and thought I’d share what I came up with so far.  Let me know what you think.  What kind of cozy would you like to see me crochet?  🙂

They are cool, but would be better if they were longer and go up the neck of the bottle. Those ones look more like a beer can cozy

    • Yeah, I did think of that but that would mean they would need a button closure of some sort at the neck of the bottle. And, ummmmm… well I’m not one to torture a drunk person LOL. Take pictures for later use maybe but not torture. 😉
